Welch Allyn has introduced LED replacement lamps for its most popular otoscopes and ophthalmoscopes.  These LED replacement lamps and bulbs last 30 times longer and enable 3 times more examination time per single charge than the traditional bulbs.  The lower temperature of the LED lamps will also result in greater patient and caregiver comfort.  The bulb’s SureColor technolog allows the color of the light to remain the same even though the light intensity has been dimmed.  These LED lamps are available as upgrade kits for traditional otoscopes, Macroview otoscopes, traditional ophthalmoscopes, and PanOptic Ophthalmoscopes.
